Creamy Garlic Shrimp
Ingredients:
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the chicken broth to the skillet and bring to a simmer, scraping the browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Simmer the sauce for 2-3 minutes, until thickened.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
- Serve the shrimp and sauce hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
