Creamy Garlic Shrimp


Ingredients:

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Add the chicken broth to the skillet and bring to a simmer, scraping the browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  6. Add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese to the skillet and stir to combine.
  7. Simmer the sauce for 2-3 minutes, until thickened.
  8. Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
  9. Serve the shrimp and sauce hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
