Beef and Broccoli Ramen Stir Fry
Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, sliced into thin strips
- 1 lb broccoli florets
- 3 packs of ramen noodles
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the ramen noodles according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, water, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the garlic and ginger, and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced beef and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
- Add the broccoli florets and stir for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli, and stir to combine.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened and the beef and broccoli are well coated.
- Add the cooked ramen noodles to the pan, and toss everything together until the noodles are heated through and evenly coated with the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve hot.
