Beef and Broccoli Ramen Stir Fry


Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 lb broccoli florets
  • 3 packs of ramen noodles
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, water, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  3. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the garlic and ginger, and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the sliced beef and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
  6. Add the broccoli florets and stir for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
  7. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli, and stir to combine.
  8. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened and the beef and broccoli are well coated.
  9. Add the cooked ramen noodles to the pan, and toss everything together until the noodles are heated through and evenly coated with the sauce.
  10. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve hot.
